Judicial

Judicial Reform ensures that consumers will have fair Judges who will hear your case without bias or prejudice. This will include lobbying for appointment and election of Judges. We support fair and unbiased Judicial candidates and oppose biased Judges. Further, we will actively investigate and report violations of the Judicial Cannons of Ethics by tracking each Judge’s performance and behavior. (See, The Robing Room.)

Judicial Candidates

We are actively recruiting and identifying judicial candidates for appointment and to run for open and incumbent judicial offices.  All judges must be held accountable for their decisions, demeanor, temperament, neutrality, industriousness, promotion of economic litigation and consumer access to the Courts.

Q: How do I file a complaint against a judge?

A: Contact the Commission on Judicial Performance, an independent state agency that handles complaints about California’s judicial officers for judicial misconduct or wrongdoing. The complaint process is not intended to deal with complaints related to the merits of a case or a court’s decision. The Commission on Judicial Performance is located at 455 Golden Gate Ave., Suite 14400, San Francisco, CA 94102; phone them at 415-557-1200.

Challenging Judges

A party can challenge a Judge “for cause” pursuant to CCP 170.1 and “without cause” pursuant to CCP 170.6.  We are actively seeking public records to identify Judges who have been challenged and at what frequency.  See a sample CCP 170.6 form.
